Walking and talking...

Wynners is basically an old pro at walking lately. Yeah, she still wipes out every once in awhile but she gets herself back up and keeps on trucking. She also LOVES to sit in her rocking chair and read her books. It's her favorite thing to do. I'm glad she loves it because I love reading but she doesn't love to sit in my lap to read my books. She's more content to do it on her own. Little Miss Independent. Don't tell her but Santa is bringing her her own "big girl" rocking chair for Christmas so that she'll be super comfy when she reads. :)

Walking like an old pro:

Reading books in my chair:

Fun stuff!

It's so funny to me what Wynn thinks if "fun"! Last night she played for a good 15 minutes in the box that her diapers came in. What a blast!

New videos!

Just a few vids of Wynn talking... Saying hot and night night

Saying Cow and moo

Hugging her baby and kissing mama!

She's getting so big

I also caught her in the fridge drinking a milk bottle that she found in there. It was hilarious! She was literally laying with her head in the fridge just lounging. This is how I found her....

Her new Sesame Street toothbrush!

New shoes!

Check out Wynn's new fake crocs. They're Winnie the Pooh! I swear they are the cutest things I have ever seen. :) She walks really well in them too!

The perfect combination.

Wynn is the perfect child. Of course I say that as her mother who loves her more than anything in the whole word but still. She is such an amazing and complimentary combination of girliness and fearlessness. She loves to hug and kiss and rock her baby dolls just like any good mommy should but she also takes flying leaps off of her rocking chair without a thought and laughs at dogs licking her face. She's not afraid of loud noises, big animals or the dark and she never has been. She's just not a scaredy baby. I love that she's nurturing her baby dolls now and it makes me think of the day when she may become a mommy herself. She's my sweet perfect mixture of princess and tomboy and I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

Wynnie's doing new stuff!

Wynn has discovered bellies and belly buttons and it's so cute! She's constantly lifting up her shirt and mine and says "Huh?" whenever she sees and touches it like she wonders what it is. We're working on teaching her all of the other major body parts too but she just smiles when we touch them and say the word.

She has also started saying "more" in the last day or two. Whenever she wants more food or milk she says "Mor" and we give her more and she smiles like she's so proud of herself! She says "night night" all the time too whenever we head up to her room. Melts my heart! Her new words this week are:

* more
* hot
* that
*duck

We are down to one bottle a day! Woohoo!!!!!! She takes sippy cups of milk throughout the day and before her nap usually. She also drinks water pretty much all day long. We're basically only working on phasing out the nighttime bottle within the next month or so. I can't believe peanut will be 14 months this month. Crazy!

So, there's your update of some of Wynner's new skillz! I'm sure I'm forgetting some but I'll post them when I think of it!

Man, I am a slacker...

I haven't updated in a week! I will be uploading some new trick or treats tonight. Wynn had a great time and got tons of candy! There was even a neighbor handing out glass of wine for parents! Of course I told him Sam wanted one too so I could have two :). Then on Friday night we went over to our friend's, Steve and Nicole's, for a little Halloween party for the kids. Wynn played the elefun game and loved that! She kept grabbing it's trunk though which makes for a not so exciting game of Elefun when you cut off the air supply. So, keep an eye out this evening for new pics....
