Fun with great friends!

Today we went to the zoo with our good friends Kelly, Shaun and Cameron!! We had a fantastic time and the kids did surprisingly well considering Cameron only slept on the way down and Wynn took 1/2 hour nap at the zoo. We're so happy they made the trip down and we loved spending the day with them. :) After the zoo we went to a great little restaurant/pub and the kids were even great there. Especially since Wynn didn't have a high chair and had to sit in an adult chair. I was very impressed! Thanks so much for coming down and spending the way with us guys! We had a great time!

Awwwww Man!

Wynn's fave new phrase is "Awww man!" - check out the video!. It's hilarious! She also now says "love you", "no way" and "see ya".

We had a super busy Memorial Day weekend but it was great! Wynn had a cold but nothing too horrible. We had a cookout, took Wynn to her first visit at the zoo and went to a cookout at my sister's house. The weather was great so we literally spent the entire weekend outside. Wish I could do that all the time! Wynn absolutely LOVED the zoo! Her favorite parts were the train ride and the petting zoo. She kept trying to feed the goats straw and she kept bending over and hugging them and saying "awwww". I think she thought they were just big ugly dogs! Now we can't wait to go next Saturday with our friends, Kelly, Shaun and Cameron!!

Founders Day Parade!

Saturday was spent at our Founders Day Parade. The "village" that we live in has it every year along with a festival for kids. Wynn was too small for the festival but she loved the parade! She was a bear initially because she's getting her two bottom eye teeth but once the music started she had a ball. They threw candy and she got to see horses (she LOVES horses) so she was a happy camper. :) She took a 3 hour nap after that so I would call it a success! After her nap Grandma and PapPap came over for dinner (they were in town helping relatives). Wynn loved having Grandma read her her books!

Happy Mother's Day!

We had a great weekend at Matt and Jessica's wedding! Too much food and alcohol makes for a tired mommy today and it was a blast!! It was so fun to see all of our friends and dance my bootie off for a good three hours! Gigi stayed with Wynn overnight for the first time and did really well. She was definitely tired today though. It's amazing how energetic our little boogars are. We got back into town today and mom came back over tonight for a Mother's Day dinner. It was so yummy!!

I have a pretty regular routine for getting Wynn ready for bed. Most nights she gets a bath and after I get her out I put her diaper on her and put lotion all over her. Tonight she did the cutest thing...I had just finished putting her diaper on and she grabbed a bottle of lotion and started pretending to put it on herself!! It was so cute!! She was "rubbing" it on her legs and face and must have done it for almost five minutes. Of course I ran and got the camera really quick and she just kept doing it! She is turning into such a little lady. Next thing I know she'll be putting on makeup. :)

Hanging with Papa and Nana!

We had a fantastic day on Saturday with my Dad and stepmom, Janette. The kids were able to play outside and we soaked up the sunshine and 70 degree temps! We also played tee ball which was a first for Wynnie. She's pretty darn coordinated with a bat if you ask me. We certainly don't get to see Papa and Nana as much as we would like so we love when they are able to visit. :)
