Wynn's little secret.....

She's getting her mama's curls!!! After her bath her hair is always super curly and I just love it! I hope as it gets longer it gets curly and stays that way as it gets longer. The last picture is just because I think she looks like such a big girl now. How bittersweet.

Christmas Day with the fam!

Just a bunch of pics from Christmas! We had a great day with family and Wynn had a ball. She was much more interested in sitting on the packages than opening them. :)

Christmas Eve Fun!

Christmas Eve and of course, Christmas, was fantastic! Mom (Gigi) came over for pork roast and potatoes and visited. We put Wynn in her Christmas pj's and read the Polar Express before bed. We also set out some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for Santa and spread some magic reindeer food out in the lawn right before bed. She loved it!

Baptism Pics

Wynn and I were baptized together on Sunday at our Presbytarian Church where we are members. We had a wonderful day and really enjoyed spending the day with our friends and family. I made, from scratch, cinnamon cupcakes with cinnamon buttercream frosting and cookies. They were fabulous! Well, the cookies were Pillsbury but they were still great. My sister, Amy is her Godmother and one of Sam's brothers, Spencer is her Godfather. It was a great day!

Going potty!

I'm sure Wynn will kill me for posting this someday but my big girl sat on the potty for the first time on Friday! She thought she was so big and grinned ear to ear. :) She said "pee pee" and then she actually peed in the potty!!!

Christmas with Papa and Nana!

Saturday we celebrated Christmas with my dad and Janette up at Amy and Reds' house. It was so fun!! Wynn had a blast playing with her cousins and had so much fun with Papa and Nana. She even said "papa" and "nana" for the first time that day!!! Amy and I also took the kids to see Santa. I was so excited because we got a picture of the cousins together! Wynn was NOT thrilled with Santa. She was very stoic about it though. She made a face like she was going to cry but did not shed a single tear! My big girl!

Snow Leopard!

We had about two inches of snow last week so I took the opportunity to dress my kid up like a sumo snow leopard and take her out to play! At first she stood there like she couldn't possibly move but eventually she warmed up and started running around. Her last face plant into the snow was enough for her though and we went back into the warm house after that! We played with C down the street, one of very good friends, and Wynn and C had a standoff. Neither one of them would move for a good five minutes because I don't think they realized that they could actually walk in their snowsuits and snow boots!! It was hilarious!

This weekend!

My cousin, Melany, and her husband Anthony came to visit us on Saturday and it was so much fun! Amy and her husband brought the twinners down to mom's and we had a yummy lunch and visited with them and the kids. Then we jetted off to my company Christmas party and had a GREAT time! We didn't get home until midnight (which for us is super late!) so mama was tired at 6 am when Wynnie got up on Sunday but it was worth it!

It's been forever...

What a bad, bad blogger I am!! I haven't posted in nearly two weeks. We've been running nonstop so I honestly just haven't had much time. Wynn had two birthday parties for her friends C and J. One was last weekend and one was this weekend and she had a ball playing with her friends! The one this weekend was at Gymboree Play and Music and she LOVED it!! Here'a few pics of her playing:

It's so cool now that she's old enough to really play with other kids and climb and jump and laugh and sing! I think Sam and I had as much as she did. I even ate pizza :)!!

Thanksgiving and tree decorating!

Our Thanksgiving was great and we were so blessed to have my sil, Leah's, family take us all in for a lovely dinner! The food was fabulous and the company was even better. They live on a farm on the side of a mountain and it was so cozy! It had snowed there so I had to snap some pics and I snapped this super cool one of a mule:



We came home Friday night and spent Saturday afternoon decorating our Christmas tree. It was so fun and gorgeous and Wynnie liked checking out the tree. She even tried to eat it. :) What fun a toddler is!!
