Big Week for Miss Wynnie!

Last week was a really big week for my Wynnie girl!  On Saturday, July 13, she got her ears pierced!!!  She was SO brave and I was so proud of her.  She shows EVERYONE.  Her favorite is cashiers at the store..."I really love your earrings!  I have earrings too, see?".  So proud :)

and..............................she lost her FIRST tooth!!!!!!!!!!!!!  She has apparently swallowed it but the tooth fairy knew that she lost it and showed up anyways.  One gold de blun and one singing Justin Bieber toothbrush were found in her tooth fairy pillow the next morning and she was SO excited!  I can't believe how fast my gal is growing up.  *sigh*

I am super sucking this blog thing this summer.  So many things to do and so little time to do them in.  Anyhoo, I wanted to post Auden's stats before I forgot to :)

Happy 3rd Birthday Auden Elisabeth!!

My sweet, tiny peanut of a baby girl turned THREE on Monday!!!  How on earth did she enter "big kid" territory so quickly??  It makes me long for the days when she babbled her first words, sat up for the first time, and clapped at her 6 month appt.  She's growing way too fast. :/ 

We had a super fun birthday party at a local indoor playground!  It was Sesame Street themed and the kids had a really great time.  All Auden cared about was cake and then presents. :)  She even snuck off and stuck her fork in the side of the cake to get a bite when everyone was playing, lol.  That kid has a crazy sweet tooth!

Her actual birthday was spent having French toast with whipped cream and then seeing Monster University with mommy, daddy and Wynnie.  We had a really great day!

Auden,
You are sweet and sassy, funny, kind, sensitive and silly all at the same time.  You are such a sunshine in our lives and I feel SO blessed to be your mama!  I can't imagine our lives without you in it baby girl and I can't wait to watch you grow up!  I love you baby girl!!

Auden at 3 years old:

- You are speaking in full sentences and your speech improves every day!  We still have to figure out some toddlerese but you're improving greatly. :)

- You are fully potty trained during the day and you are great about going even while playing

- You LOVE LOVE LOVE your big sister!  You cry for her when she's not there and she's the first person you for in the mornings

- You wear size 18 month or 24 month shorts and size 3 shirts

- You wear a size 6 shoe (finally!!!)

- You have had your hair cut twice!

- You have a newfound love for water and love to play in the bath and the pool this summer

- You are all about being a "big girl" and fight help a lot of the time, lol

- You are still a mama's girl....and I love it :)

- You can count to 15 but you're still working on your abc's

- You are stubborn, just like your mama, and will ask for something 153 times before we finally give in so you stop asking

Your 3 year well check isn't for another two weeks and I'm so eager to hear how much you have grown!

Pre K Graduation!!!

Big girl graduated from Pre K about a week ago!  I can't believe she's growing up so quickly :/  Their theme this whole year was Dr. Seuss so they had a really cute "Oh the Places You'll Go" theme for the graduation. 

Moms Day!

Monday was Moms Day at PreK.  We were so blessed that Grandma Mc was in town for the day and could join us!  The kids were so cute!  They each did a book about their mom...Wynn said I was 66, lol!  They also sang a few songs for us and it was precious :)

Fire Station field trip!!

Wynn's Pre K class had their annual field trip to the fire station today and I had a great time with my girl! The kids got to climb up in the ambulance and both fire trucks! They (and mommy!) also got to shoot the fire hose...it was SO cool!

I think it's safe to say....

that Auden is officially potty trained!!!  She has been SOOOO easy and does such a great job!  She has only had two accidents in the last three weeks and is dry 6 out of 7 mornings.  She doesn't wear a diaper during her nap (if she takes one) either!   She just gets it and I am so thankful for that.  She was 2 years 7 months roughly when it first clicked for her and she hasn't looked back.  Yay for barely buying diapers!!!

Somehow I forgot to post Wynnie's 5 year stats and wanted to do it before I forgo to :)

30 Months

I can't believe little Auden is now 2.5.  That's almost THREE!!  My little baby isn't a little baby anymore :(  She had her 30 month appt. on Thursday though and she's doing great.  She's still so stinking skinny but tall.  Here's her stats:

Height:  36.75"  (75th %)
Weight: 24.0 lbs (5th %)
Head Circumference:  5%-10%

Skinny little peanut.  Pedi said that she is doing great and to keep doing what we're doing.  She's always been skinny and since she's still on her curve that she's good to go.  Praying for another healthy year for her! 

Merry Christmas!!

Every year I am amazed how much more fun Christmas becomes now that the girls are getting older.  They both enjoy it so much and it makes it so fun for Sam and I!  Wynnie participated in the Christmas Eve play at the church where her preschool is.  She was a kittycat in the manger... :)  The service was absolutely beautiful and really got me into the real spirit of Christmas.  We sang Silent Night by candlelight (the kids had glow sticks) and it made me tear up at how blessed we all are by God. 

Wynn also participated in her class Christmas program and it was super cute!!  I have to upload the videos still so I will post those when I do that. 

 

Christmas day brought LOTS of presents, fun and family!  We went over to my sister's house and celebrated with my mom, dad, stepmom, sister, bil and my niece and nephew.  The girls had a BALL!!  Merry Christmas to all!

Birthdays and Pumpkins and Parties Oh My!

What a whirlwind this month has been!!  We've had something going on every weekend....starting with Wynnie's 5th birthday party! It was at a gymnastics center and she had such a ball!!  Her friends came to celebrate and she couldn't have been any happier. :)  She asked for a Barbie themed party, which I did, but because it was at the gymnastics center I couldn't do as much as I normally would have.  She could have cared less.   As long as their were friends, presents and cake she was good to go!

Our next big adventure was Wynn's Pre K Pumpkin Patch field trip!  It was NASTY weather that day but we made the most of it. :)  It was so fun to spend some time with my big girl just us two. :)  The kids were allowed to pick one pumpkin, two ears of Indian corn and three gourds.

Last but not least was Wynnie's harvest party at Pre K today!  She has been DYING to be Ariel and was up at 6 am today wanting to put on her costume and wig.  Her wig is KILLING me!!  She wanted Auden to dress up too so I got them both in their costume and off we went.  I was really blessed to be able to volunteer to do a craft for the party so we made Frankensteins from toilet paper rolls (a la Pinterest, lol) so that was really fun!  Daddy as able to be there for her parade too so she was thrilled!  Her teachers dressed as Thing 1 and Thing 2 which was super cute.  The kids did a costume parade around the church and even stopped by to show off their costumes to the seniors.
