9 Weeks Old??? Seriously??

Little ma'am has taken to trying to sit up on her own somedays.  I cannot get over that she is only 9 weeks.  I'm not sure she's figured that out yet....

We had Auden's baptism on Sat. and it went great!  She was so good and smiled throughout them majority of it.  Pics to come in the next day or so once I sort through them all...

8 Week Appointment

Auden is doing GREAT!  We had her 8 week appt. today and she has grown so much.  Here is a short list of her stats and new milestones:

Weight:  10 lb. 10 oz. - 50th percentile
Height:  23.5 inches long - 90th percentile

Milestones:
Started cooing and "talking" about two weeks ago
Smiled at 5 weeks 6 days
Has her grip perfected (just ask my necklace)
Has rolled over twice from belly to back during tummy time

She's just growing like crazy and I love seeing her gorgeous smile when I get her out of her crib and she sees her mama.  :)  We are so blessed that she's healthy and happy!

LYLAS

Do y'all remember LYLAS???  Love You Like A Sis?  Well my girls definitely love each other with all their hearts!   I took some pics of them when Wynn was going to bed the other night and they both had so much fun. I couldn't catch one with Auden smiling but she was smiling up a storm.  :)

My sweet girl...

Tonight when I was snuggling with Wynn before bed we were singing "Baby Mine" (we sing it every night) and she smiled up at me and said "I wanna be just like my mommy".  I just about burst into tears!  It was the sweetest thing I've ever heard.  :)

Can you feel the love tonight?

Our sweet yellow lab, Lucie, just could not be sweeter with our girls.  Last night I was doing tummy time with Auden and Lu just curled right up next to her and rested her head on Auden's boppy.  It was so sweet!

Today we took Wynn up to a new grocery store here in town that was opening and had free pony rides.  She loved riding Blizzard the pony and went back for a few more rides!  They also had a bounce house and some other fun kid stuff.  It was ridiculously HOT though so we only stayed about 45 minutes.  I thought we were going to melt.  She had fun though and must've worn herself out because she's actually napping now!

6.5 Weeks Old!

I can't believe that Auden is already 6.5 weeks old!  I just wanted to share a few pics of my sweet girl and her adoring big sister....

Auden smiled at me yesterday for the first time at 5 weeks and 5 days!!  I got her to do a few today too and caught them on film!  She's SO stinking cute I can't stand it!

4 Week Appt.

I can't believe that Auden is already a month old!  Wynn is still a fantastic big sister and hasn't had even a second of jealousy towards her.  We're really lucky that way!  Here's the stats from her 4 week check:

Weight:  8 lbs. 4 oz.
Height:  21 inches

She's growing finally!  Just to compare here's Wynn's stats from her 5 week appt.

Weight: 8 lbs. 2 oz.
Height:  21.75 inches

3 Week Weight Check

So our little lady FINALLY hit her birth weight today!  7 lbs. 11 oz. on the dot today!  She has grown an inch since birth and it long and lean so I'm sure she's destined to be a supermodel. :)  I am just wanting  my sweet girl to continue to grow and thrive so hopefully her 1 month appt. next week shows an ever bigger gain!

Sweet Baby Bunny....

One of my fantastic girlfriends, Toni, bought the sweetest gift for Auden and I just had to post a pic. Isn't it darling??!! It's her first personalized gift and if you know me at all you know i LOVE personalized stuff for my kiddos. :) Thanks Toni!!

Our Sweet Surprise....

was a gorgeous and sweet baby girl with a full head of dark hair and navy blue eyes that we named Auden Elisabeth. She was born on June 24th by C section and has been doing wonderfully ever since. :) She is such an amazing blessing to our family and her big sister loves her with all her heart! Wynn has been doing anything and everything she can do help with Auden and it just melts me. :) I am so grateful for my two gorgeous girls. Here's her stats from birth and then her one week stats:

Birth:
Weight: 7 lbs. 11 oz.
Length: 20 inches

1 Week: 7 lbs. 4 oz.
Length 20 1/4 inches

She's been nursing really well and other than her eating all day long everyday she fits into our family seamlessly. :) Here's a few pics:

37 Weeks 3 days

So here's the ginormous belly at 37 weeks 3 days! My feet and ankles are super swollen but so far that's it. I can't believe this baby is coming in 5 days!!

Wynn's First Dance Recital!

Wynnie had her first dance recital for her pre dance class on Saturday and she couldn't have done better! She was SO cute in her costume and she got right up there and did most of what she was supposed to. There were probably 200 or so people in the performing arts center and it didn't even phase her. We weren't allowed to videotape it so we tried to do it on our camera but it turned out horribly. We did buy the DVD of the performance so I should have it in a few weeks and I'll try to post it once I edit it just down to her part. Sam and I, Gigi, Auntie Mimi and Lizzie all came to cheer her on. :) Here's a few pics of my tiny dancer...

Wynn just learned how to pedal and steer her trike at the same time! It felt like a huge milestone and we're so proud of her. :)

Happy Belated Easter Weekend!

So I'm a few days behind posting Easter weekend pics but such is life. We had a super busy, but fun, weekend! On Friday we went to the Zoo for Eggs, Claws and Paws with Auntie Mimi, Joe and Lizzie. We got our pics taken with the Easter bunny, rode the carousel and went to the petting zoo. Saturday began with our neighborhood Easter egg hunt where Wynn had a ball!! She ate SO much candy it was ridiculous. Sunday we ventured up to Auntie Mimi and Uncle Redsie's house and had an Easter egg hunt with Joe and Lizzie and then had Easter dinner. It was a wonderful weekend filled with family and fun! Enjoy!
