Kiddo Update....Auden is 19 Months and Wynn is Four Years and Four Months!

My girls are growing up so quickly :( While is makes me so happy to have healthy children they are just growing up too fast for my liking! There have been so many new, fun things in the last month I thought I would update on both girls.

Auden - 19 Months
- Says SO many new words that I can't even write them all but here are some of her faves:

She's also:
- Sleeping 11 hours at night
- Taking one 1.5 hour per day (in the afternoon)
- Does NOT eat well (she's teething)
- Is getting one molar and three other teeth finally. She now has four on the top and three on the bottom with one just poking through.
- Still wears 12-18 month clothes (she's SO skinny and petite!)
- Wears a 3.5 shoe (midget feet)
- Loves to play babies and walk them in her stroller
- Is fascinated by an Elmo app on my iPhone
- LOVES taking baths with her big sister and splashing!
- Wears a size 4 diaper but could easily still wear a four
- has such thick hair with some curls!
- Is such a sweet, loving baby and loves to snuggle mama!
- Is totally a mama's girl
- Says I love you by giving you a kiss :)

Wynn - Four years and four months
- LOVES to go to school. Next year we've decided to enroll her in the 5 year old program at her current preschool rather then start kindergarten early. She will go four mornings/week and is already excited about that!
- Is playing "house" now and loves to have me be the Gigi
- Still loves My Little Pony and is obsessed with horses
- Will be playing soccer in the Spring :)
- Is SO stinking smart
- Does simple math addition
- Sounds out the beginning letter of words all the time
- Makes up little ditties all the time
- has many new fears now...the dark and shadows being the two biggies
- Wears a size 5 in most pants and shirts
- Wears an 8.5 shoe
- Is learning to spell simple words
- LOVES playing with her "computer" and tracing her letters, numbers, etc.
- Is still my precious, snuggle, sweet and sensitive girl :)

Still a Skinny Minnie!

Auden had her 18 month appt. on Friday and is still on track to be our little supermodel. :) Here are her stats:

Weight: 20 lbs. 8 0z. (5-10th percentile)
Height: 32 inches (75th percentile)

Pedi says she's totally on track with her hearing, speech and developmental milestones. She only gained 4 oz. between her 16 month appt. (for a weight check, lol) and her 18 month appt. She said that she has been in those same percentiles since she was about 1 month old consistently so her growth is consistent and she's just a skinny kid. She was not thrilled that she had to get two shots but after she got a good scream out she was fine. Honestly that was pretty much it...thank goodness there is nothing to report. :)

After her appt. mom and I took the girls to see Santa. Wynn has never been afraid or skittish with Santa until this year. Her 4 year birthday brought on quite a few new fears. She wasn't ready to cry by any means but she was definitely more hesitant with him then she ever was before. Auden was in love with him and kept yelling "SANTA" and giggling....until we sat her on his lap and then she wasn't so in love. :)

Wynn had her preschool Christmas pageant tonight and it was SO cute!!!! She did great and managed to lift her dress up and pick her nose multiple times during the program. :) We LOVE her preschool! They do such a fantastic job with the kids and everything there revolves around Jesus and the kiddos. It's fantastic and we are so blessed to have found such an amazing preschool.

I have been a major bloggin slacker lately. WOW. We've had so much going on this month that it has really slipped my mind. I'm going to squeeze a few things into my fall update because of that. Considering Christmas is less than a month away I will have our Christmas updates coming soon enough. :)

Thanksgiving was wonderful! We spent it at Sam's parents house with lots of family and the girls had a ball. They really enjoyed spending time with their cousins and Grandma and Pappap.

A few weeks back mom and I took the girls to a Christmas Bazaar at a local Catholic elementary school. The girls had a really good time. Wynnie got her face painted (she picked a flower) and also go to decorate and then eat a Christmas sugar cookie. :) We also got to be Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Last but not least we decorated our Christmas tree on Sunday! The girls had such a good time! It was so fun to have on our Christmas music and watch them ooh and aah when we turned the lights on. We've always had white lights but this year we decided it would be more fun for the girls to do colored lights so that's what we did. When we turned it on Wynn said "Wow it's so beautiful!" and Auden started squealing and laughing. :) Sam helped Wynn put the star on the treetop and she was so proud of herself. Auden just keeps walking up to it and giggling!

Halloween 2011

Halloween this year was such a fun experience! Auden is old enough to eat candy this year and Wynnie LOVED trick or treating! :) She ran ahead of all the other kids and was so eager to get to that next house with the porch light on. Our neighborhood had TONS of trick or treaters. Quite the change from the first year we lived there (7 years ago) when noone had kids. What fun!

Wynn asked this entire year to be Tom and Jerry for Halloween so I had to make that happen in a girly way. :) I ended up making tutu dresses for both girls and although they were cute they were a pain in the rear. They constantly get tangled up, need fluffed, etc. Needless to say I won't be doing those next year. :)

A few days before Trick or Treat we had a Pumpkin Carving Party at Samantha's with a bunch of our neighborhood friends. We did this last year too and the kids loved it so we kind of wanted to start it as a tradition. The kids (and adults!) had a ball. :)

Fall Days...School Days

Wynn had her pumpkin patch field trip with her preschool yesterday and had so much fun! I wasn't able to leave work so Daddy took her and I'm so happy that they got to spend that special time together. They had so much fun! She had a little lesson in the barn all about pumpkins and gourds and then they each got to pick out an ear of Indian corn. They took a hayride and picked out their own little pumpkins too. What a fun, fall day!

Wynn has had such a great year so far at school. She is learning and growing so much each day! She surprised us with the Pledge of Allegiance last week and I had to get it on video. She rocks. :)

I pray that I am all of this to my girls and more....

I have dreamed of being a mama and prayed that I would be so blessed since I was a little girl. I babysat, cuddled, snuggled and nannied other people's little ones and still prayed that someday that little one would be own very own. Now I have two of my very own and I couldn't praise God anymore than I already do that they are my sweet little ladies and I get the chance now to be everything that I always dreamed to be for them. I was born to be their mama. :)

Wynn's 4 Year Appt.

Beanie is doing fantastic! She had her four year appt. today and her pedi said that she looks perfect. She got her flu shot and will get the remainder of her shots at her 5 year appt. They also did a hearing test which was interesting to say the least with a 4 year old! She said that her language and comprehension is exceptional and her whining is normal. :)

Her stats:
Weight: 34 lbs. - 25-50%
Height: 39" - 50% (the pedi said that she thought the nurse might have mismeasured her because she looks taller than that so who knows??)
BMI: 50%

At 4 years old she is:

- Wearing a size 8 or 8.5 shoe
- Wearing 4T pants and 5T shirts
- LOVES to play creatively! She loves to sit by herself and color or paint. She also loves to make up play stories with her My Little Ponies or her "little cuties" (two little stuffed animals).
- Never naps
- Is really into Santa right now so we're doing a lot of "Santa wouldn't be happy with that behavior, etc."
- Is very into doing this herself and doesn't want much help
- LOVES ponies and horses - I wish we lived on a farm and she could have one :)
- Whines alot when she's tired. ALOT.
- Is starting to fib a little about small things. We're working on that.

Auden is 15 months old!

Our sweet girl is 15 months old! She's doing so many new things and growing so much. She had her 15 month appt. on Thursday and she's a supermodel...long and lean. :)

19 lbs. 5 oz. - 5%-10%
31" long - 75%

Just in the last few days she has begun walking 8-10 steps at a time! She's starting to walk alot more then she was. She was starting to worry me a little by not really walking but she seems to be finally getting it. She only gained 1 oz. since her 12 month appt. so I'm trying to add in extra calories for her through whole milk peanut butter, etc. At 15 months she is:

- the sweetest, most ornery little pumpkin ever!
- Wearing a size 3.5 shoe - FINALLY
- taking 8-10 steps at a time
- climbing up on the dining room table at least 15 times per day. No kidding. She's a monkey.
- Says mommy, dada, dog, woof woof, baby, duck, and alot of other gibberish we don't understand yet
- Is pretty much down to one nap per day
- Is wearing 12-18 month clothes but she's so skinny that unless pants are adjustable waist or elastic they fall off of her
- Eats with a fork and has for a few months now
- LOVES her big sister and belly laughs at her all the time :)
- is still a huge mama's girl and cries when I leave her
- loves stuffed animals. If she's ever crying you can hand her any stuffed animal and she will stop. She snuggles it and kisses it. Her favorite is a dog of Wynnie's named Biscuit

She is such a precious addition to our family and we are so blessed to have her in our lives. She's silly and sweet and cuddly and stubborn as a mule (wonder where she gets that??) :) I could never imagine loving another child as much as I love Wynnie and I DO! I have more love than I thought my heart could hold. :) My sweet little pumpkin pie is growing up!

Dear Beanie,
You are FOUR years old today!!! That's 48 months old bugger! You had such a fun day today!! Mommy and Daddy made a "birthday door" for you to run through as a surprise when you woke up and you loved it! For your special birthday breakfast daddy made you a pancake with sprinkles and you loved blowing out your candle and us singing Happy Birthday to you. You are one lucky chick. :)

You are the light of my life and I am so blessed to be your mama. I truly feel that I was born to be your mom. The love and spirit between us is undeniable and I can't imagine my life without you. You are so filled with joy, light and happiness. You are incredibly creative, funny, sweet and kind. At four years old you:

- Are roughly 39" tall and weigh 32 lbs.
- You wear a size 8 shoe, 4T pants and size 5 shirts.
- You are left handed and have begun to color really well! You LOVE to color and could sit at the table for a good hour. You stay in the lines so well now.
- You can write your name and write mommy as well. If I tell you letters you can write out anything.
- You can count from 1-10 in French, Spanish and German and can also say many other things in all three languages.
- You still insist that I sing "Baby Mine" and "Lullaby Baby Blue" when you go to bed (and I don't fight it because I love rubbing my hands through your hair and singing you lullabies)
- You are insanely sweet and loving and tell me multiple times a day that you love me or that I'm so sweet.
- You love to dance and sing. :)
- You're a pro at riding your big girl bike and love to do so.
- You never nap and haven't for well over a year.
- You don't love to share with your baby sister.
- You LOVE "mommy days" and I do too :)

You are SO loved that I want to squeeze the stuffins out of you. You are a crazy, fun, lunatic and I love ever single inch of you and every breath you take. You are insanely loved my sweet Wynn Caroline. Happy 4th birthday my precious love.

Wynn had her 4th birthday party on Saturday at an indoor playground and had SO.MUCH.FUN!! We had so many family and friends come to celebrate with her and it made her so happy. :) My sister, Auntie Mimi, made her the most amazing My Little Pony cake and she keeps saying that was her favorite part of the day. So blessed to have another year with my sweet first born. :)

What a weekend!!

We had such a fantastic, fun filled weekend! Wynnie's 4th birthday is on Wednesday so we had her party this past Saturday. We had it at in indoor playground and it was PERFECT for the kiddos! They ran around like crazy, ate pizza and yummy cake and cupcakes that my sister made for her. She is obsessed with My Little Ponies so of course she had to have a pony party. :) I will post a bunch of pics from the party tonight but the other fun thing that Wynn got to do this weekend for her birthday was go to Build a Bear!

You would have thought that she hit the jackpot! She loved picking out her purple kitty, named Cubby Princess, and getting to stuff her, bathe her and pick out her outfit and dress her. Here's a few pics:

First Day of Preschool!

Wynn started her first day at her new preschool today! She was super excited and looked like such a big girl. Last year she went two mornings a week but this year she is going three afternoons/week. I'm eager to see how she adjusts to not having any quiet time for those three days since she usually at least rests during the afternoon for an hour or so. She ran right in, gave me a smooch and sent me on my way. She's so independent and I love that about her. :) I honestly can't believe that she's going to be

FOUR in two weeks. Where have the years gone???

Auden is 13.5 months!

Man, I have super sucked at this blog update thingee this summer. We run around non stop I feel like and I just don't have the time to sit and type it all out. So, instead of a 12 month update my poor, second born, daughter is getting a 13.5 month update. :)

At 13.5 months Auden:

- has 2.5 teeth! The two front teeth on the bottom and .5 of the top left tooth. Teething has not been pleasant to say the least.

- is not walking yet. She seems to have no desire to and the second you try to stand her she drops to her bum and crawls wherever she wants to go. She cruises on furniture and climbs EVERYTHING but no walking yet.

- LOVES to dance!! I can see her car seat shaking (she's still rear facing) whenever I put Super Bass on and she squeals and giggles. This girl can shake it like her mama. :)

- At her 12 month appt. she was 19 lbs. 4 oz. (10-25 %) and 30" long (75%).

- Is drinking exclusively from sippie cups. She doesn't even want babas anymore. :(

- LOVES milk just like her big sister.

- Gives high fives

- Loves to snuggle still

- Usually sleeps through the night and wakes up talking to herself

- Still doesn't have many words...mama, dada, nana. She babbles a ton but not many words yet.

- Has SUPER thick hair that has changed a lighter/reddish color and has gotten really long! It's got some curl to it which I love.

- STILL wears a size 2 shoe (she never has shoes on though).

- Wears alot of 6-12 month short but needs 12 month onesies and 18 month sleepers

- Is into EVERYTHING. I mean, everything. She pulls everything out of cupboards, gets stuck climbing under the dining room table, climbs on top of her Leap Frog table, etc. She is going to be a rock climber!

- Doesn't need milk before naps or bedtime anymore.

That's all I can think of right now but I'm sure there's more that my sweet girl is doing. :)

Wynnie's last day of Vacation Bible School was this morning and her program was so cute! She was so proud of herself for learning the motions and the songs they sang. I totally started crying and I couldn't stop my tears for some reason. She just looked so full of joy and it made me so happy. :)

Yes, I am two days late but the last two days have been SO incredibly busy!!! All fun things but busy nonetheless. Auden's birthday was on Friday and we just stuck around the house and did some errands for her party. We had a Pancakes and Pajamas party on Saturday morning and it was soooo fun!! kids had a pancake bar with blueberries, strawberries, bananas, whipped cream, chocolate chips, Heath bits, syrup and sprinkles to load up their pancakes with. We also had sausage links and fruit salad....and mimosas!! It was packed with great friends and family that we love so we had a ball!! Here are a few pics:

Wynn is a lover of languages just like her mama!! I took Spanish, French and 6 years of German in school and wish I could take more. I have been teaching her how to count from 1-10 in German, French and Spanish and also some simple phrases like hello, goodbye, please, thank you, my name is, etc. Here she is showing her big old brains at 3.5 years old!! I am so proud of my little lady!!

I honestly can't believe that my little baby is going to be a year old in one month. It blows my mind. She has been such an amazing and blessed addition to our family and we are so grateful to have her in our lives. Here's what our big girl is doing this month:

- She still eats everything but has added pork chops, grilled chicken and a number of other foods to her repertoire
- She's down to 3 bottles a day. One when she wakes up, one before her afternoon nap and one before bed
- She is pulling to a stand non stop and is into EVERYTHING. This child is ornery
- She climbed up the entire flight of stairs last weekend
- We put up the baby gate this past week and she has taken to climbing on the bottom step and hanging from the gate and laughing
- She is wearing 12 month clothes or 12-18 month generally
- She still wears size 3 diapers
- She barely wears a size 2 shoe. She has midget feet.
- She says Hi and waves hi or bye bye all the time
- She says Dada and mama
- She dances with Wynnie all the time and it's so cute!!

She's doing fantastic and growing so much everyday!

YAY WYNNIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For about the last 8 days Wynn has been waking up with a completely dry Pull u*p. I never thought this would happen as before that they were usually pretty wet. All of the sudden she started waking up and pointing out to us that her Pull U*p was dry and she was really proud of herself. I decided to take the leap last night not put one on her and see how she did. She stayed totally dry all night!!!!!!! I had put a waterproof crib pad under her sheet just in case but she didn't even need it. She has grown and matured so much in the last month. I just can't believe it!

Well, that was a bit overdramatic but Wynn did just finish her first year of preschool! Her party was on Monday and it was a ball. She had so much fun! I made strawberry mice and cheese cubes and they were the hit of the party. I swear my baby has grown into a kid overnight. I don't where the time has gone! Enjoy my sweet girl!

We've had so many things going on the past week. Wynn has had gymnastics and her art show at preschool. We celebrated Easter and my bil's birthday today and the kiddos had a fantastic time!

Baby girl is finally cutting her first tooth at 9 month, 3 weeks and 2 days. :) :) Of course she got her first fever with her tooth and a runny nose.

I have Type 1 diabetes. Well, Type 1.5 diabetes technically. Type 1.5 is also called LADA which means Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults.

I was 19 weeks pregnant with my sweet Wynn Caroline when I was diagnosed with a disease that would change my life forever. I was blessed to live my first 30 years without this disease but now, until there is a cure, will struggle with it and conquer it for the remainder of my life. I have been trying to teach Wynn to be a helpful girl by teaching her what to do if mommy has a diabetic emergency. Unfortunately I am by myself quite a bit with the girls and I watch my blood sugar like a hawk but you never know when you might have a totally random low and if I went unconscious with my girls I want Wynn to know what to do. I have to admit I feel that it is a totally unfair burden for a 3.5 year old to handle but she will grow up knowing no different then her mommy has a disease and might need help someday.

Do I wish my life was different every single day? That I didn't have diabetes now when I never had it before? YES. BUT, if that meant that I wouldn't have my two sweet girls then I will deal with this disease everyday of the rest of my life and then some. That being said Wynn is learning what to do if mommy needs help and I'm so proud of her. :) My little miracle love bug that survived my 11.4 A1C (a normal blood sugar is between 80 and 120, my average blood sugar was about 350 and when I was diagnosed it was 420) when I was 19 weeks pregnant with not a single thing wrong with her. My sweet, healthy first born that is SO strong that she defied the odds. My two girls are my blessings and for that I am forever grateful to God. Here is Wynners showing us what a brainiac she truly is. :) Yes, she looks like a female Pigpen in this video but she had been playing all day with markers and her hair was whack. She's still gorgeous to me.

We FINALLY got some gorgeous, warm weather here and we took full advantage. Packed up a picnic lunch and headed out to a local metro park. The whole fam took a nature walk on the trails and then headed to the playground. The girls had so much fun!! What a difference some fresh air makes...

Big girl had her 9 month appt. today and she is doing fantastic! I will add more to this post once I have a little more time but here's her stats:

Height: 29" long - 95% percentile
Weight: 17 lbs. 2 oz. - 25% percentile
Head circumference - 25% percentile

Still a long and skinny supermodel with a peanut head :)

Okay, so I finally have some time fill you in on our big girl. :) She is SUCH an easy and happy baby! She is the easiest eater EVER. We just love her so much and cannot imagine our life without her!

- She has been eating table food since about 8 months. For dinner she will eat what we eat and she shovels it in. Last night she had tortellinis with garlic marinara and garlic bread. Right before that she had Earths Best Butternut Squash Bisque and inhaled that too. This girl can eat! So far she has had food sticks, broccoli, green beans, corn, garlic bread, tater tots, chicken nuggets, tortellini, and even a little taste of pizza. :)

- She wears a size 3 diaper but is getting ready to go to a 4.

- She is wearing mostly 12-18 month clothes now since she's so stinking long but can still wear a few 6-12 month outfits.

- She has the tiniest feet. She's not even a size 2 yet!

- She crawls everywhere now and is into everything. :)

- She got her big girl carseat a few weeks ago and loves it. We got her the Graco My Ride 65 in Cuddles. Love the leopard print. ;)

- She adores her big sister and loves to play peek a boo with her.

- Her hair is getting really long in the front but I am absolutely NOT cutting it. I just put in a barrette or a bow.

-She babbles non stop and says dada alot. We haven't heard her say mama since the first time she said it but it will come. :)

My sweet, precious girl is almost 9 months old and I'm JUST doing her update!! She is doing fantastic and is becoming such a big girl!

She rolls EVERYWHERE. She gets up on her hands and knees but can't quite figure out what to do from there.
She's wearing 6-12 month clothes
She claps all the time and says Dada all the time. She said mama first but she she hasn't said it since.
She ate 1/2 of a grilled cheese the other day!! She is such a great eater and is so different from Wynn that way!
She's switching to her big girl carseat this weekend :)
She sleeps through the night most nights but she wakes up a few nights a week still
She HATES when I leave the room. She watches for me wherever I go and if I'm out of her sight she cries.
She is "trying" to pull to a stand but hasn't made it yet.
She can go from being on her belly to sitting up on her own
She wears size 3 diapers
She is such a mama's girl and loves to snuggle me!
She cracks up at Wynnie and constantly tries to pull her hair or pull her glasses off
She LOVES baths!
She's getting her mama's curls :)

She is such a wonderful, sweet baby and we are so blessed to have her in our lives. Her 9 month appt. is on March 25th and I can't wait to hear how she's grown!

Pumpkin Pie did great at her 6 month appt. They said that she looks fantastic and they were amazed that she was clapping already! Of course she did it throughout the entire appt. just so they could see what a genius she is. :) Here's her stats:

Weight: 15 lbs. 12 oz. - 50% percentile
Length: 26" - 50th percentile (her length growth seems to have slowed down in the last few weeks)

The doc said I could start whole milk yogurt and meats. I gave her Organic Chicken and Sweet Potatoes last night and she loved it! Planning on picking up some Yo Baby yogurt this week at the store.

At 6 months Auden is:
* Sitting up independently
* Clapping
* Trying to wave
* Sticking everything in her mouth!
* Eats breakfast and dinner. She has a fruit for breakfast (she has had apples, bananas, pumpkin, plums, prunes, peaches, blueberries, and probably more that I'm forgetting. She has a vegetable and sometimes meat for dinner (she has had turkey, chicken, purple carrots, sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, peas, green beans, beets, avocado, spinach, potatoes, zucchini and others.)
* is such a happy, sweet girl!
* Sleeps 10-11 hours regularly throughout the night
* takes 2 naps a day usually (her morning nap is about 45 min-1 hour and her afternoon nap could be 1 hour -3 hours!)
* LOVES her big sister and thinks her and Lucie are the funniest things on the planet
* Her fave toy is her Sophie the giraffe teether

Where has the time gone? I can't believe my sweet girl is 6 months old already! Here's a little bit about her...

- She rolls over regularly now
- She can almost sit up on her own
- She is in 9-12 months clothes most of the time and 12 month sleepers
- She smiles ALL the time!!
- She loves baby food and has had peas, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, mango, prunes, pears and broccoli
- She wears size 3 diapers and has for about 2 months
- She grabs toys with both hands and stuffs them in her mouth. :)
- She KNOWS me and Sam and does a happy dance when she sees either one of us walk in the room or hears us talk.
- She's going anywhere from 9-11 hours at night without waking up (Thank the Lord!)
- She weighed 15 lbs. even at 23 weeks
- She is such a light in our lives and we are so blessed to have her! In LOVE with her!
- She is in love with Wynnie and belly laughs at everything she does (I LOVE this!!)
- She wakes up cooing and talking and very rarely cries.

What a joyous Christmas we had!! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family and have our two precious girls. We spent the day with family (not all of them unfortunately) and it was wonderful. The kids had a fantastic day and Wynnie was all about ripping open presents. Here she is on Christmas morning. They both had such a busy day and even Auden barely napped. Here's a few pics from the day :) Auden turned 6 months yesterday and I honestly can't believe she's already half a year old. I will post an update tomorrow with her milestones/developments but I didn't want it to get lost in the shuffle and excitement of Christmas.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

The girls visited Santa Claus yesterday after Wynn's Christmas pageant (more on that later) and had so much fun! They also saw Santa at Wynn's Preschool Christmas Party and then a random Santa strolled into the restaurant when we were eating lunch. Wynnie never noticed that Santa got around so quicly.... No tears in the Mc household where he's involved. Wynnie told him that she wanted a race track with a daddy race car, mommy race car and baby race car. :)

LOTS of Firsts This Past Weekend!

SO many firsts this weekend! Wynn got her FIRST haircut ever!! Yes, I know it sounds extreme but her hair has always been so pretty and curly and I couldn't bring myself to cut it. Well, I finally got sick of the tangles and having her run away from me screeching when I have a brush in my hand. She told my mom the other day that her hair was a "rats nest" which you can only imagine came out of my mouth at some point while brushing her hair. Her hair is EXACTLY like mine was as a kid but not as blond. At least she got something from her mama. :) I took her to Cookie Cutters and she LOVED it!! She got to sit in her very own airplane and got to watch Dora while she got her hair styled. Then she got her very own First Haircut Certificate with a lock of her hair and a picture of her new hairdo. Oh and a balloon. :)

The second FIRST was that Auden ate cereal for the first time this weekend! She didn't love it but didn't dry heave it then vomit like Wynn did. Here she is! I guess that's progress...

Last FIRST but not least by any means is Auden has started sitting up all by herself!!!!!!! She was about 5 months and two weeks in this pic. She still tips over sometimes but she's getting to be such a big girl!!

Gigi and I took Wynn and Auden to Sesame Street Live on Thursday night and it was really fun!! Auden was a perfect doll and Wynnie, althought tired from the day, had a great time!! I always love taking my girls to fun things that I'm hoping they will remember some day. I still remember when my dad took my Sesame Street Live for the first time. I even still have my pennant. :)

Man am I behind the 8 ball on posting this! Auden had her 4 month appt. last Weds. (she was 18 weeks) and she's doing wonderfully! She's tiny but long. :) Here's her stats:

Height: 24.75" - 75th percentile
Weight: 12 lbs. 11 oz. - 25th to 50th percentile
Head Circ.: 39.6 cm (peanuthead just like her big sister!)

Here are Wynn's 18 week stats:
Height: 24.5"
Weight 14 lbs. 8 oz.

Milestones:
- Auden giggles alot and belly laughs too! She especially LOVES to giggle at Wynnie and Lucie. :)
- She's *this* close to rolling over on her own
- She's playing with toys and has a killer grasp. She also has really strong legs and will stand on up if we hold her hands
- She eats 4-6 oz. every bottle but still weighs less than Wynn did at this age. Mostly 4 oz. bottles but still that's alot compared to Wynn's 2.5 oz. each bottle at this age
- She smiles CONSTANTLY. Happiest. Baby. Ever other than her big sister at this age. I ended up with two super smiley kiddos.

A Day at the Pumpkin Farm!

Today we hit a pretty cool farm about a half hour from our house and it was really fun! Wynn got to ride on their Banana Bus and loved it! She rode it all by herself and as it rode off into the distance I just looked at Sam and commented on how I could NOT believe that our kid was old enough to be riding the banana bus by herself and was so old that she was out of our sight riding it and we were fine with that. Where did our little baby go?? Auden was fantastic the entire time and it was such a fun family day. :)

First Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

Wynn had her first field trip today with her preschool class! We went to the pumpkin patch and had such a fun time. We took a hayride and picked our own pumpkins, got to pet goats and a brand new, two week old calf, had homemade pumpkin sugar cookies for a snack and then got to play (and of course I snapped tons of pics!) What a fantastic day and I am so blessed that I was able to go with her. :)

Friday night we hit the Fall Fest that takes place every fall in our little village. There were some cute little rides, tons of food and a really loud band! Wynn had a great time riding her motorcycle!

3 Year Appointment!

Wynn had her three year appointment today and is doing great. They noted a slight heart murmur but said that since noone had ever heard it before and her cardiac echo was perfect (I had one at 22 weeks pg. with her and Auden both) that it was probably just because she was excited. She got her flu shot and her hemoglobin checked which was perfect (13.9). Here's her stats and pics of my sweet girl before her appointment (Ri - this is her weiner dog shirt!).

Weight: 30 lbs. - 25-50th percentile
Height: 37.75" - 75th percentile

Three years ago today, at 7:20 a.m., you made me a mama. You are such a joy and light in our lives and we are so blessed that God chose you to be our first born daughter. We love you so much sweet girl and look forward to many more birthdays to come!

I was lucky enough to be able to take Wynn to preschool this morning on her birthday. I made her acorn dough nuts last night for her birthday treat and they turned out really cute! She was so excited to take them in today and also to dress up in her farmer gear for Dress Like a Farmer Day. She had a special birthday breakfast of Timbits and milk and Christy, her sitter, is going to treat her to a special birthday lunch today at McDonalds too. What a lucky girl! Here's our big THREE year old at school this morning!

3rd Birthday Party!

We had Wynn's 3rd birthday party on Saturday (although her actual birthday is tomorrow) at G's Ice Cream Parlor and the kids had a BALL! It was really fun and yummy! They have a really cool indoor play area for the kiddos which was great because we could keep them all contained (14 of those little rascals!) and then we moved onto the party room for pizza and ice cream sundaes. It was a great day!

First Day of Preschool!!

This morning was Wynn's first day at her new preschool and she had so much fun! I absolutely love her teacher and she seems to like her too. :) They do lots of fun things to allow the children to learn at their own rate and use their own processes to do so. One of my favorite things they do is that when they come into the classroom they find their banana with their name on it and match it up to the monkey with their name on it so that they learn name recognition. Her class is the Red Monkey Class so pretty much everything in there has to do with monkeys. :)

Our sweet yellow lab, Lucie, just could not be sweeter with our girls. Last night I was doing tummy time with Auden and Lu just curled right up next to her and rested her head on Auden's boppy. It was so sweet!

Today we took Wynn up to a new grocery store here in town that was opening and had free pony rides. She loved riding Blizzard the pony and went back for a few more rides! They also had a bounce house and some other fun kid stuff. It was ridiculously HOT though so we only stayed about 45 minutes. I thought we were going to melt. She had fun though and must've worn herself out because she's actually napping now!

was a gorgeous and sweet baby girl with a full head of dark hair and navy blue eyes that we named Auden Elisabeth. She was born on June 24th by C section and has been doing wonderfully ever since. :) She is such an amazing blessing to our family and her big sister loves her with all her heart! Wynn's First Dance Recital!

Wynnie had her first dance recital for her pre dance class on Saturday and she couldn't have done better! She was SO cute in her costume and she got right up there and did most of what she was supposed to. There were probably 200 or so people in the performing arts center and it didn't even phase her. We weren't allowed to videotape it so we tried to do it on our camera but it turned out horribly. We did buy the DVD of the performance so I should have it in a few weeks and I'll try to post it once I edit it just down to her part. So I'm a few days behind posting Easter weekend pics but such is life. We had a super busy, but fun, weekend! On Friday we went to the Zoo for Eggs, Claws and Paws with Auntie Mimi, Joe and Lizzie. We got our pics taken with the Easter bunny, rode the carousel and went to the petting zoo. Saturday began with our neighborhood Easter egg hunt where Wynn had a ball!! She ate SO much candy it was ridiculous. Sunday we ventured up to Auntie Mimi and Uncle Redsie's house and had an Easter egg hunt with Joe and Lizzie and then had Easter dinner. It was a wonderful weekend filled with family and fun! Enjoy!

25 Weeks Already!??

How did this happen already? I will be 25 weeks tomorrow and this pregnancy has just FLOWN by! I guess just being with Wynn most of the time and working full time makes my days go quick. Overall I'm feeling good. I have a tiny bit of heartburn some days and a little cramping but other than that I feel good! I think I've gained about 15 lbs. so far which I'm not loving but it is what it is. I eat healthy and obviously have to count out my portions, carbs, etc. because of taking insulin so it's not like I'm able to pig out on anything. We're working on the nursery and I will post pics when that's done. I really need to get to posting a new belly pic too. All I keep hearing is how tiny I still am and how I'm all belly (although I don't think my bootie would agree) so I'm hoping to stay that way. :) Babe weighed 1.7 lbs. at last Friday's u/s which they said was right on for my due date! I can't believe I only have 13 weeks to go until my C section!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sam and I took Wynn to D.isney on Ice last Friday and had a FANTASTIC time!! Seriously if anyone is considering going and taking your little one I say do it!! Not only did she have a ball but we did too. Watching her little face light up with happiness was so fun! She didn't take a nap that day and the show wasn't until 7 pm so we were a little concerned that she would be difficult but she was fantastic. We got home about 10 pm and she stayed awake the entire day! Must been the excitement of the night that kept her up :)

We got over 10 inches of snow yesterday and today so we've been having so much fun with Wynners playing in the snow! She tried to catch snowflakes on her tongue and kept eating snow saying "I wuuvvvvvv snow". It was so stinking cute! We didn't have a sled so we rigged up a ghetto sled out of a laundry basket and rope. She still loved it. :)

Just a few quick updates and pics. I'm now 14 weeks 3 days and feeling great. Most days I totally forget I'm pregnant! I guess that's what happens when you're chasing after a toddler. Here's my 14 week belly pic:
Wynn has been working on potty training and went over 60 minutes the other day without peeing in her big girl panties. Then she decided to poop and pee in them. :) Here's our big girl with her big girl panties and new glasses on.

And here's a picture of my gorgeous girl that I just love. Those sweet baby blues get me every time. :)

We had our NT scan today at 13 weeks and it went great. We still have to wait for the blood test results but we're thinking positive. :) Check out the cool 3D pic of our little wiggleworm that they got today!!

Tonight I took Wynnie up to go trick or treating with Joe and Lizzie at Mimi's and Redsie's house. Despite not taking any nap today she was great and had so much fun! I made her Cookie Monster costume and I have to say she was the talk of the 'hood. :) Enjoy!

Dumpkin Picking!

Yesterday we went to the pumpkin patch (or dumpkin patch) as Wynn calls it and had so much fun! We went with our friend Jane and her son, Jimmy, and the kids had such a ball. It was gorgeous out but a tiny bit chilly still. The kids played in the haybale barn, went down the slide in the haybales, tried out the tractor, petting zoo and went on a hayride to pick our own pumpkins. Daddy helped Wynn pick the perfect Dumpkin just for her!

Three whole hours!!!

Wynn went over three whole hours tonight with no diaper on and NOT ONE accident!! I let her do this the other night, right before taking a bath, and she peed on the floor. She has talked about it ever since and randomly says "pee, floor" and "daddy clean up" because Sam cleaned it up. :) So tonight when I took off her diaper to let her run around, bootie in the wind, I explained to her that she was not to pee on the floor and that if she had to pee she needed to tell mommy. She sat on the potty no less than 10 times but in three hours that's not bad! She didn't pee everytime but the fact is that she's getting it and knows the sensation of having to pee and can catch herself, even when she's playing, to stop and tell mommy and pee in the potty!

First things first, I wasn't able to post pics of Wynnie's cupcake party because our computer cord died last week. She had a great time and LOVED the balloons and after all of the kids, except her buddy Carson, had left they did a balloon dance. Check it out! We got her an Ariel dress up costume for her birthday, which she loved; unfortunately it ripped within five minuetes of putting it on so we had to take it back. At least we got a picture in it!

Our next big news this week is that Wynnie started at her new "school" today! She looked so stinking cute (and big!) in her new school outfit and backpack. When I dropped her off she just waved to me and said "bye mommy". I have to admit while it felt good to have her feel safe and secure I would have loved just a tiny bit of her not wanting me to leave. :) She's going to learn and do so much and that is so exciting to me! She was excited to make new friends too. I hope it goes well!

2 year appt.

Wynn's two year appt. went great! Her vocabulary is still exceptional and her potty training is coming along well for her age. Here are her stats:

Height: 33.25" - 50% percentile (they said based on this she should be about 5'6" when she's an adult)

Weight: 25 lbs. - 15% percentile (they having us add powdered milk to most of her foods to get her calorie intake up. She's just so darned pick and loves fruit and healthy stuff that getting calories and fat into her is hard!)

Head: 30% percentile

So, overall she's doing great! She had roseola this week so she didn't get her vacs today but will go back in two weeks for her MMR and flu mist.

Happy 2nd birthday my love! Mommy and daddy love you so much and are still so amazed everyday that God chose us to be your parents. We couldn't ask for a more loving, kind or special child. You are truly a gift and we will be forever grateful. You are silly and sweet, sensitive and funny. The perfect combination of your daddy and I! What a wonderful ride this last two years has been. ONE day before her 2nd birthday Wynn pooped in the potty!!!!!!!!!! She has been peeing in the potty all weekend. Every 1/2 hour or so I will ask her if she has to potty and she says yes and then she pees every time. :) We were over at Uncle Wiggy's tonight and she said "Wynnie poop on potty". She says that everytime she has to pee though so I didn't really think she would poop this time. She went pee and then she actually went poop!! I can't believe my sweet, tiny baby is two years old tomorrow. Tomorrow morning, at 7:24 am, she took her first breath and her first cry. What a miracle she is. She is a true gift from God.

Wynn's 2nd Birthday Party!

What a fabulous day we had yesterday!! The weather was a gorgeous 75 and sunny and we had an amazing time at Wynn's 2nd Birthday party! We did a Minnie and Mickey Mouse theme and it turned out super cute. :) Thanks so much to all of our friends and family who made it to the party and for those of you that didn't we sure missed you. :) Halfway through Wynn soaked herself with a water bottle so we changed her into a brand new leotard that she got and she ran around yelling "princess!". It was so cute! We had two bounce houses set up in the yard of the lodge (thank you SO much Kari and Amy for letting us borrow them!) and the kids absolutely loved them. Enjoy the pics!

Bears

So I'm trying to teach Wynn how to say her prayers at night before bed. The other night we were sitting in the comfy chair in her room rocking and just talking about the day, reading books, etc. and decided that now was as good a time as any so I ask her to say "Dear God", she repeats "Dear God", please keep our family and friends close to your heart and bless them with health and happiness. Please let them feel your love and support everyday of their lives through every struggle they have and feel your light burning in them." I then ask Wynn if there was anything that she wanted to pray for specifically. She thought for a second and then said, "ummmm, Bears.". "Bears?" I said. "Bears" she repeated. So, bears it is. "God, we pray for all the bears so that they may be happy and healthy. Amen".

Dance Class!

Wynn has her first dance class last Thursday and she did great! Almost all of the other little ones in the class were crying when their parents left but Wynn was so excited and happy to be there that she just ran from one end of the room to the other over and over. She didn't even care that we were gone! They work on ballet and tap in this class (as well as some tumbling and low balance beam work) so we had to get her a set of each shoes and then she carries them there in her little backpack. She gets such a kick out of wearing her little "princess" outfits (leotards and tights) and putting on her new shoes. Here's a few snippets of her on her first night!

So we're in the final stretch before Wynn turns 2 at the end of this month. I just can't believe that my little baby is going to be a two year old! Where has the time gone?? I thought I would update a little on what she's doing now since I haven't done that in awhile.

- She's all about pronouns. She has discovered that she is "me" and everything she says it "help me", catch "me", feed "me", "my milk", etc. She has also started pointing to me and saying "YOU". It's so funny! She talks to her dollies and says "Me feed her" so I know she's really getting what they mean now.

- She loves her dollies and feeds them, rocks them and put them to bed all the time. She calls them her friends and will walk up to them and say "Hola friends or Hola dollies" then proceed to put them all to bed by lying them on the floor in a row and saying "sleep tight" to each one of them.

- She counts to herself all the time. She'll generally say "2, 7, 10, 11, 12" so granted it's not always in order but she's getting the concept.

- She belts out Elmo's Song all the time and it's so stinking cute!

- She has randomly wanted to sit on the potty lately but it's few and far between that she actually goes. She just likes to sit on it and grab toilet paper.

- She's generally wearing 24 month clothes but can wear some 2T's depending on the brand. Some of them are too long on her still (pants). She wears a size 5.5 shoe.

- When we're ready to go somewhere she'll see us getting stuff together, run over to the door and yell "Come on guys!, Come on, Come on" or when she wants to give you a hug she'll say "Come here mommy or come here daddy" and then hug us and snuggle. That absolutely warms my heart!

- She's starting to learn some colors but those are hit or miss too.

- She starts her dance class tomorrow night! We got her ballet shoes and tap shoes all packed in her bag and are ready to go. I can't wait to have her dressed up in her leotard tomorrow night!!

- She actually likes to clean up now. She sings the clean up song as we go around and pick up her toys. Mommy is liking this one!

- Up until a day or two ago I could NOT keep anything in her hair. The second I would put a hairband or bow in she would rip it out. She walked around like Cousin It for the last few weeks because I refuse to cut her bangs. She's been okay about it lately though so hopefully it's just a phase.

- She stuck a fish tank pebble up her nose the other day at the sitter's and had to have it picked out with tweezers. Gotta love toddlers!

Well, I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of right now. She is the most pleasant, sweetest little lady out there and I'm so lucky that she's mine. :)
